School Readiness Test Have your preschool child take our simple test

This school readiness test has been developed to provide you with an indication of the skills that may be needed to give your child a head start at school. The test is based on sound Teaching and Occupational Therapy principles.

Simply follow the step-by-step instructions:

1. Print this page
2. Print the Test Sheets
3. Have your child do the tasks involved.
4. Read out each instruction slowly and clearly.
5. Get them to complete each task while you observe closely your
child’s reaction to each instruction.
6. The first eleven questions relate to the Test Sheets so make notes as you go.
7. To obtain your child's results return to this page and click on the yes / no answers
to complete the questionnaire.
