The unique
Get Ready For School preschool lesson plans help prepare your child for

self-care, play and school related skills.
ersonalisation
The
program is delivered personalized for your child as a pdf book.
The are several
reasons why the Get Ready For School program is personalized:
- The program
is designed so that children recognize and trace their first name. This
is a very important step to pre-writing. Each page has your child's
name on the top in guidelines so they practice writing their name again
and again.
- It is
also an excellent opportunity for children to know that their name is
special which helps to promote a healthy self esteem and independence.
- We have
hidden your child's name throughout the programs - a kind of 'Where's
Wally' exercise in Visual
Perception.
- All the
awards are personalized as well - there's nothing better than an award
to show to that someone special, like Grandma!
- Being
personalized gives your child ownership of the program.
Children
like to know the meaning of their names, or why they were given that name.
The program offers you an excellent opportunity to talk to your child
about why you chose their name and it's meaning.
As a parent
you know how much children love to have their own things. Just one of
the truly unique things about these programs is that each book is personalized
for your child.
hy
a pdf book?
PDF
files are electronic versions of books that can be viewed on a computer
screen or PDA. They are distributed eBooks to anyone with a computer running
Microsoft® Windows® or Mac OS X.
You can print
out the pages as often as you like, which means you can focus on aspects
of the program your child may be having difficulty with, and, of course,
your child's favorite sheets can be printed over & over again!
You can also
insert each page into a page protector or laminate it, keep it accessible
and while your child is waiting for a snack or meal he or she can practice
on a regular basis.
